Education meets Industry: Back to the Future

The European Internet safety network (Insafe) will celebrate its highly successful first year of existence by organising a stakeholders’ meeting in Paris on 9 December. As one of our major Internet safety awareness raising partners, we would like to invite you to take part in this event.
Our aim is to develop dialogue between industry & education, at the same time challenging the status quo by offering the educational sector a realistic taste of things to come. The meeting will promote dialogue between key players from public institutions, industry and education in order to discern mutual expectations and paths of future collaboration, pinpointing concrete actions for the upcoming year.
The stakeholders’ meeting takes place in the framework of EMINENT, European Schoolnet’s annual conference. EMINENT brings together almost 200 education specialists and researchers. A highlight of the event will be an award luncheon with winners of the Internet Magic story-telling contest from 16 countries across Europe.
Who will attend the meeting?
Besides the 22 national nodes and representatives from the 23 Inhope Internet safety hotlines, the Insafe Annual Meeting will bring together stakeholders from education, industry and social sectors and European organisations.
