A conference on "Protecting Children from Online Abuse" will look at the role of the new 'Centre for Child Protection', the work of the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the Paedophile Online Investigation Team (POLIT).

There will be best practice case studies from BT and Vodafone.

Other areas dealt with include current and projected trends in Internet and mobile use, how best to educate children and parents in safe Internet and mobile use, whether current laws are effective enough and how to gather evidence for prosecutions.
